Auto-shelves

Wooden shelves strapped to Manfrotto Autopoles.  The bookends ride on bearings so that when the weight of [falling] books hits their top, the bookends triangulate themselves and stay put.  When force is applied lower than their center of gravity [by hand], the bookends slide easily for repositioning.
